- TES ICT
Well organised and high quality content, suitable for 11 – 16 year olds. Resources are divided into age and subject matter categories and tagged to indicate the type of resource. A review system allows you to view other teachers opinions and leave your own. The TES site also features a popular ICT forum.
- Educational Technology and Mobile Learning
Resource website focusing on web tools and mobile apps, with sections on teachers guides, iPads and YouTube.
- Teaching Ideas
Good selection of tips and ideas, including downloadable cards and behavioural reminders.
Small selection of ICT KS2 games and a good links page. Their sister site, everyschool links to around 40 further ICT KS1 and KS2 games, plans and guides.
- Guardian – Technology in Schools Week blog post
Excellent blog post outlining more resources, mainly larger projects for KS2 and KS3.
Guide to blogging in the classroom, with ideas and links to further resources.
- iPads in Education
Another excellent iPad resource listing many apps for different subject areas.
Interactive web programming tutorial site, learn to code a variety of web languages without having to download and install developer environments or simulate web servers.
- Ed Tech Ideas
Excellent blog with many informative Edtech posts.
Fantastic site with lots of app reviews and resource links.
Blog, teachers guides and a good “The Best” section covering apps, laptops and tablets.
